The characters from these famous stories get transported to the real world, in the fictional town of Storybrooke, Maine. They must try to end the curse that has sent them here. The episodes often feature the past story of one of the characters from before the curse, while another plot line follows all the characters of the Storybrooke. The first episode was watched by 13 million people, and each episode averages around 10 million viewers.

But for reals, the show is awesome. Watch it.
