10 - City of Dreams, Macau - $2.7 Billion
Also built in Macau, China, the City of Dreams casino/resort (the 6th on the list) is located directly across the street from The Venetian Macau. It is built/owned/managed by Melco Crown Entertainment. The complex features many water-themed attractions, such as a virtual aquarium, a giant clear glass globe fountain, and the Dancing Water Theater.

The 5th hotel/resort on our list, and the second built by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, is The Venetian Macau in Macau, China. At 10,500,000 ft², it is the 7th largest building in the world by floor area, and the world's largest casino. It is modeled after The Venetian Las Vegas, also built by Las Vegas Sands.

The Wynn is another casino/resort located on the Vegas Strip. It's entire complex complex contains 4,750 rooms, making it the 6th largest hotel in the world. It also features the full compliment of giant casino, convention center, restaurants, and shopping mall. The cherry on top? The movie, “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” is being shot entirely on site. One WTC is the name of the main tower building of the new World Trade Center complex in downtown Manhattan, New York City. It is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, and the fourth tallest in the world. The building's total hight of 1,776 ft is an intentional reference to the year the Declaration of Independance was signed, 1776; creating the United States of America. The building's name comes from the address of the Northern Twin Tower of the original World Trade Center complex, which was destroyed in the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks.

The Abraj Al-Bait (also known as the Mekkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel) was built by the Saudi Arabian government in from 2004 to 2012. It is located only yards away from Islam's most sacred site, the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. Every year millions of people pilgrimage to the mosque for worship. To accommodate this many visitors, the government had the hotel built. The building contains a worship room that can hold 10,000 people. The central tower of the hotel is the third tallest building in the world, and contains the world's largest clock face.
